1987 Car Instructions

This is a building instruction and guide with the piece list for my creation of the 1987 Car, that was inspired by a famous rapper's album cover 💿

This set can is meant to be used as a display piece for collectors and fans, but can also be used as a play set.

The build offers a black car with grey seats in minifigure scale. The car can fit a total of three minifigures. It has a removable trunk, which can be filled with your favorite items. You will also find, that the build includes a brick-built engine.

I also included all the codes needed, in order to recreate the famous rapper as a minifigure if you‘d like.

When designing the model, I used original LEGO® pieces. It is designed for fans & collectors.

The product you purchase includes:

1x digital instruction including 131 building steps and 106 digital pages 

1x digital parts list at the end of the instructions

1x XML-Bricklink File

After the purchase, the file will be ready for you to download. The easiest way to get the pieces needed, is to use the parts codes provided on the Parts List on Bricklink. You can create a new Wanted List and add all the necessary pieces for this build using the XML-file.

Infos about the model:

• It uses a total of 225 parts, that will cost around 30$/25€, though you can check out Bricklink or your parts collection if you have one to lower the total cost. Note that the cost could be higher, depending on the availability of the pieces at your country's retailers and the shipping & handling fees.
• Physical information/ dimensions: 6.9/ 2.9/ 1.9 inches. It has a weight of 176g.
• You can use either Bricklink.com or LEGO.com to purchase the pieces needed to recreate this model. The codes provided in the instruction manual as well as the XML-File list, includes the codes for Bricklink though.
